NYC Chess Connections, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing individualized chess tutoring to underserved elementary and middle school students across New York City. With a team of 40 mentors serving 50 students, NYCCC offers virtual lessons via Zoom, hosts public lectures in Central Park, and reviews games at scholastic tournaments citywide. Now in its sixth year, NYCCC continues to make chess accessible to students of all levels—promoting strategic thinking, perseverance, and meaningful connection through the game.
